Location & boundaries
In east-central Etobicoke, bounded by Bloor Street to the south, Dundas Street to the north, Mimico Creek to the west and the Humber River to the east. Humber Valley Village lies to the northeast.
History
Developed from 1912 by lawyer Robert Home Smith on the Garden City model, with strict building codes and tree preservation. The area combined former mill lands and farmland and joined Toronto with Etobicoke in 1998.
