This Privacy Policy explains how Renanza Realty Inc. ("Renanza", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information you provide through this website (the "Site"). We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through this Site. It does not apply to information collected offline or through other channels, or to third-party websites we link to.

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry, request a home valuation, ask about a listing or an international project, or otherwise contact us through a form on the Site, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message. We may also record the page you submitted from and marketing attribution parameters (for example, UTM tags) that were present in your link.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers automatically record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of each request. We use this information to operate and secure the Site (including limiting automated abuse of our forms) and to understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used.

Cookies and analytics. We use cookies that are necessary for the Site to function, and we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to recognize a returning browser across pages and visits, and records information such as the pages you view, the searches and filters you use, the listings you look at, and the links and buttons you interact with. We use this to see which pages and properties are useful to people and to improve the Site.

We have configured Google Analytics for measurement only. Google's advertising features, advertising personalization, and cross-device tracking signals are switched off, and we do not use the Site's analytics data to target advertising to you. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, or the contents of your messages or chatbot conversations to Google.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If you would prefer not to be included in analytics measurement, you can use Google's official opt-out browser add-on (available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), or block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The Site remains fully usable either way.

The Site includes an AI assistant that can answer questions, search listings, and help you get in touch with an agent. It is clearly identified as an AI, not a person, from the start of every conversation.

You can browse listings and ask general questions through the chatbot without providing any personal information. Before the chatbot saves your name, email address, or phone number, it will ask for your explicit consent and explain why — for example, so an agent can follow up on your enquiry. If you decline, we do not save those details, and you can continue to use the chatbot without providing them.

We keep a record of your conversation (including any details you consented to share) so that our staff can review it, follow up appropriately, and improve the assistant over time. If the chatbot connects you with a human agent, relevant details from the conversation are shared with that agent the same way information from any other enquiry form on the Site would be.

Everything else in this policy — how we use, share, retain, and protect your information, and your rights regarding it — applies equally to information collected through the chatbot.

We use the personal information you provide to:

• respond to your enquiry and connect you with the appropriate Renanza agent;
• provide the information or services you request, such as listing details, a home valuation, or details about an international project;
• operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; and
• meet our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations as a licensed real estate brokerage.

We will not use your personal information for a materially different purpose without your consent, except where permitted or required by law.

Property listings shown on the Site are provided in part through the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) Data Distribution Facility (DDF®) and are drawn from Boards and Associations across Canada. This is third-party listing content, not personal information we collect about you. The information is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed accurate by CREA, and listings are held by brokerages other than Renanza unless otherwise noted.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

• with Renanza agents and staff who need it to respond to you;
• with service providers that process information on our behalf (for example, website hosting, email delivery, and Google Analytics for website measurement) under obligations of confidentiality and only for the purposes we specify;
• when required or permitted by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or lawful government request; and
• where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Renanza, our clients, or the public.

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside your province or country; where that is the case, the information remains subject to appropriate safeguards. In particular, Google Analytics is operated by Google LLC and the information it collects is processed on servers in the United States, where it may be subject to access by foreign authorities under the laws of that country.

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and to meet our legitimate business, legal, and regulatory obligations (including real estate record-keeping requirements). When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw your consent to our continued use of it (which may limit our ability to respond to you). If you receive email from us and no longer wish to, you can ask us to stop at any time. To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site may contain links to websites we do not operate, including REALTOR.ca and third-party project or developer sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
