Riley Park, also called Riley Park–Little Mountain, is a residential east-side neighbourhood best known for Queen Elizabeth Park and the independent shops of Main Street.
It is bounded by East and West 16th Avenue to the north, 41st Avenue to the south, Cambie Street to the west and Fraser Street to the east. Mount Pleasant lies to the north and Oakridge to the south.
The neighbourhood grew around Little Mountain, the highest point in the city, where a former basalt quarry was transformed into Queen Elizabeth Park in the mid-20th century.
Character homes and single-family houses predominate on the side streets, with apartments and mixed-use buildings along Main and Cambie streets.
Main Street is the primary commercial thoroughfare, known for independent boutiques, antique and design shops, cafés and restaurants, with additional shops along Cambie Street.
Queen Elizabeth Park, with the Bloedel Conservatory and sweeping city views, is the signature green space, and adjacent are Nat Bailey Stadium and Hillcrest Park.
The Vancouver School Board serves the area.
The Canada Line runs along the western edge with King Edward and Oakridge–41st Avenue stations on Cambie Street, and frequent buses serve Main Street and Fraser Street.
Queen Elizabeth Park, the Bloedel Conservatory and Nat Bailey Stadium, home of the Vancouver Canadians baseball team, are the main draws.
The Hillcrest Community Centre holds one of Vancouver's largest aquatic centres, an ice rink, fitness centre and gymnasium, and hosted curling during the 2010 Winter Olympics.
May suit families wanting character homes near major parks and independent shopping.

Generally not right now. Since January 1, 2023, the federal Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act has barred most non-Canadians from buying residential property, with exceptions such as permanent residents and some work-permit holders. The ban has been extended before, so confirm its current status and get legal advice on your situation.
