Livingston is a master-planned community on Calgary's far north edge, north of Stoney Trail, developed by Brookfield Residential.
It sits in north Calgary, north of Stoney Trail along Centre Street North, near the community of Carrington, with regional access via Centre Street, Stoney Trail and Deerfoot Trail.
It was launched in the mid-2010s as one of Calgary's newest north communities.
It is a growing family suburb organized around a central homeowners' recreation facility, with parks, wetlands and pathways.
Housing is a mix of single-family detached homes, townhomes, duplexes and apartments and condominiums.
The Livingston Hub, a residents' association recreation centre, includes a splash park, outdoor skating rinks, tennis and basketball courts, a gymnasium and an amphitheatre; the community also has parks, wetlands and trails.
Schools include Kenneth D. Taylor School (K-4) under the Calgary Board of Education, along with the Catholic schools Our Lady of Grace (K-9) and St. Josephine Bakhita (K-6) in the Calgary Catholic School District, with further schools planned.
Calgary Transit buses serve the community, and Stoney Trail, Deerfoot Trail and Centre Street provide regional access.
The Livingston Hub serves as the community's main recreation and gathering facility, funded through homeowners' association fees.

Generally not right now. Since January 1, 2023, the federal Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act has barred most non-Canadians from buying residential property, with exceptions such as permanent residents and some work-permit holders. The ban has been extended before, so confirm its current status and get legal advice on your situation.
