About these numbers

Figures are computed from active residential listings for sale on the MLS® feed (CREA DDF®), refreshed hourly. Prices are asking prices; days on market counts from when a listing was first entered. Asking $/sq ft uses listings that report a living area. New construction means built last year or later (including presales); resale means an earlier year — listings with no year built count only under “All construction types”.

What isn’t here (yet)

Sales, sold prices, dollar volume, the sales-to-active ratio and percent of original price need sold data, which the listings feed doesn’t carry. The MLS® HPI is each board’s published benchmark (CREA, August 2026); for a city it’s the benchmark of the board covering that region. Trend charts grow from our daily snapshots.
